Add the live chat code to your website

For the live chat to appear on your website, its code must be on the website's pages. Each live chat channel has its own code.
Steps
-
1
Open the channel's settings
In Settings › Workspace settings › Inboxes, find the live chat channel and open its settings.
-
2
Copy the code
On the “Settings” tab, there is a preview of the widget on the right. Click the “Script” button above it: the widget's code appears. Copy all of it. The “Preview” button takes you back to the widget's look.
-
3
Add the code to your website
Put the code in a part that is on every page of your website (for example, the shared template). If a developer manages your website, send the code to them.
-
4
Check
Reload your website: a chat button should appear in the corner. Write a message yourself: it arrives in Clomni in this channel's conversations.
-
5
If the widget does not show
Look at the “Allowed Domains” field on the channel's “Configuration” tab. If domains are listed there, the widget opens only on those websites: add your website's domain and click “Update”. Also check that the code on the page is complete and unchanged.
