Copy, translate, edit and delete a message

Every message has its own menu. What the menu shows depends on the message type and the channel.

Steps

    Open the menu

    In a conversation, right-click the message.

    What you can do

    • “Copy”: copies the text.
    • “Reply to this message”: your reply goes out quoting that message.
    • “Add to canned responses”: saves the text as a canned response.
    • “Translate”: adds a translation of the message, shown with “View translated”.
    • “Copy link to the message”: a direct link to this message.
    • “Edit”: correct a message you sent (when the channel allows it).

    Delete a message

    Choose “Delete” and confirm. The window tells you what will happen: on some channels the message is deleted for both you and the customer, on others it is deleted only in Clomni and the customer still sees it. A deletion cannot be undone.
