The helper in the corner: it takes you to the button you need

Last updated: 12 October 2026 · 5 min read

There is a green face in the bottom right corner of the dashboard: the Clomni helper. When you do not know where to do something, write to it and it takes you to the right place inside the dashboard.

Steps

  1. 1

    Ask a question

Click the green face, type what you want to do in the box that opens, and send it. For example: “how do I connect an inbox”, “where is my API token”, “how do I create a label”.

  2. 2

    The helper takes you there

The helper flies next to the menu entry, button or field you need. The rest of the screen dims slightly, the target is highlighted, and the helper tells you what to do, such as “Click here” or “Type a name here”.

    • Clicking the button moves on to the next step.
    • After filling in a field, click “Next”.
    • On a menu step, “Take me there” opens the page for you.
    • Click “Stop” at any time.

The helper never clicks anything for you and never changes anything. It only shows the way.

  3. 3

Questions it cannot show inside the dashboard

For questions like “why is my message not sent” and for things the dashboard cannot show, the helper offers the help center. “Go to the help center” opens your question in the help center chat in a new tab. If it cannot find a step on the screen, it says so and offers the help center as well.

  4. 4

    Welcome tour at first login

Everyone who signs up after 12 October 2026 gets a short tour from the helper at their first login:

    • Agent: conversations, the ones given to them and the unassigned ones, contacts, notifications and status.
    • Administrator: the start checklist, Settings (connecting channels, inviting the team), conversations, contacts, Clomni AI, campaigns and reports.

“Skip” ends the tour. A finished or skipped tour is not shown again, in any browser. The tour only starts on a wide screen, not on a phone.

  5. 5

    When the helper is hidden

The helper hides while a conversation is open, so it stays out of the reply box's way. It is also hidden during a call and when the account is suspended.
