Set up a Facebook comment campaign

A Facebook comment campaign replies automatically to comments on your Page's posts and sends the customer a private message in Messenger. Your Facebook Page must be connected to Clomni first (see “Connect a Facebook Page (Messenger)”).

Steps

    Create a campaign

    In the left menu, open Campaigns › Facebook and click “Create campaign”. If you see “No Facebook page connected”, connect your Page first.

    Set up the steps

    In “Comment trigger”, enter the keywords. In “Public reply”, write the text posted under the comment. In “Private DM”, write the Messenger message. Everything else works the same as an Instagram comment campaign (see “Set up an Instagram comment campaign”).

    What is different on Facebook

    • The “Follow check” does not work on Facebook comments: Facebook does not say whether someone follows your Page, so this step is skipped.
    • If the person has blocked messages from your Page, the DM is not sent. For this case, fill in the “Public reply if the DM cannot be sent” field.

    Publish

    Click “Publish”. To see the results, click “Results” in the Campaigns list.
